Our Facilities
Our comfortable lounge is at your use while we take care of your four-legged friend.
Waiting area
Our waiting room has ample space and separate areas for dogs and cats. We are dedicated in ensuring a stress-free visit for your pet. If you have a nervous pet please feel free to check in with your pet waiting in the car and bring them in once it is their turn. The scale is located right by the door, where you are asked to make a quick pitstop so that we can monitor your pet’s weight.

Lounge room
Our lounge provides you with an area to relax in during longer procedures. You can relax by the fireplace, utilize our free WiFi, and enjoy some complimentary coffee or tea, as well as some light snacks. Please feel free to immerse yourself into one of the books in the library or our coloring books for adults
Examination room
We have two examination rooms for dogs and a third separate one for cats. All of our examination rooms have calming pheromones that reduce stress. This is where the general examination takes place as well as blood and urine sampling.

Dental room
Anident provides a state-of-the-art state-of-the-art dental room. We have two fully equipped dental care stations, both of which include a digital dental X-ray, as well as modern dentistry equipment. Our materials are the same top-notch quality that are used in human dental care and we order additional specialized equipment intended specifically for veterinary use directly from the USA.
Dental radiographs
The digital dental radiograph is a vital diagnostic element. Anident’s dental radiography machine is modern and efficient: we are able to process the images of two patients simultaneously on two work stations.

CBCT
Cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) is one of the latest applications of three-dimensional radiological imaging, which is well suited for imaging the skull and jaws. CBCT imaging is particularly useful in cases such as jaw fractures and oral tumors, as well as in cases where a precise image of oral pathology is needed, such as cyst formation caused by an unerupted tooth, the location of a foreign object, or changes in the tooth itself and jawbone caused by root canal inflammation. CBCT imaging is used not only for imaging teeth and jawbone, but also for examining eye and ear patients and for imaging limbs.
Radiology
Our radiology room includes a full-size radiography machine and a CBCT machine allowing for advanced imaging. CBCT imaging is especially useful in jaw fractures and oral tumor diagnostics. For regular, full body radiograph imaging we have a modern digital radiography machine, which we use for thoracic and abdominal imaging as well as official hip, elbow, stifle, and spine imaging.

Surgical theater
Sterile surgeries, such as spaying and castrations, are done here.
Recovery kennels
We have separate recovery kennels for our dog and cat patients. Both are located immediately next to the operating rooms, where we can directly supervise the recovery of our patients. Where necessary, the owners can accompany their dog in the recovery area if the patient needs a familiar person around for their recovery.

Laboratory
We analyze basic profiles of blood and urine in-house and are able to obtain same-day results. Our laboratory equipment includes clinical chemistry and hematology analyzers, a platelet factor analyzer, as well as an incubator for bacteriology. Samples needing analysis beyond our services are sent to an external laboratory. Owner’s will receive the results either at the time of the appointment or afterwards via email, depending on when the results are ready. We don’t have separate phone consults with the veterinarians, but, if necessary, the patient’s veterinarian may give the owner a call back about their pet’s laboratory results and treatment plan.
Surgical Equipment Maintenance
Surgical instruments and equipment maintenance are very important to us at Anident. We have carefully devised routines and specialty equipment that is comparable to that in human medicine. Even though oral surgery, by definition, is not completely sterile, we follow strict aseptic guidelines in our procedures. For example, all of our root canal instruments and other instruments in contact with blood are autoclaved and stored in a sterile manner before use.

Staff area
Our staff has their own entrance to the building and comfortable social spaces as well as a shower. Some of our staff’s dogs spend the working day in an important role as “kitchen dogs.” During a busy workday the happy dogs provide stress relief. After the workday they help us recharge our batteries with a walk in the local national park.
